Aizu-Wakamatsu Station

Aizu-Wakamatsu Station with its beautiful whitewashed exterior was chosen as one of 100 representative stations of the Tohoku region in 2002, for being the gateway to a city with history, culture and tradition. In front of the station is a large statue of an Akabeko (a red cow from local legend).
