Approximately 2 hours from Shin-Aomori Station by car. Rent bicycles from the Oirase Gorge Museum, which is situated close to Keiryu-no-Eki Oirase (a gift shop and restaurant), and is a hub for sightseeing in the Yakeyama District. Inside the museum, you can enjoy the kokedama (moss ball)-making experience and gourd-lamp-making experience, and in the winter, try the candle-making experience.
