Bringing the history of Sakata, a bustling rice shipping port, into the present. The wisdom of the people of old lives on in this cool storehouse; they took advantage of the natural world, planting elm trees behind the building in order to mitigate high temperatures in the summer etc. The storehouse was used until September 2022.
