- Koganji Temple, where the Togenuki Jizo is enshrined, is a Buddhist temple that welcomes 8 million worshippers every year. On "ennichi," or days numbered with "4" in every month, tens of thousands of people visit. In particular, on the 24th of January, May, and September, a large festival is solemnly held for a Buddhist memorial service.
