Established in the state of Wisconsin in the US in 1994, Great Dane Brewing launched a new brewery location in Akiu, Sendai, in 2024. The brewmaster, selected as the top brewmaster in the US, produces several dozen new deeply flavorful varieties of original beer every year. The restaurant attached to the brewery offers up to 16 varieties of freshly brewed beers along with an American style food menu featuring ingredients from Miyagi. So come and enjoy delicious beer and food while surrounded by the abundant nature of Akiu, Sendai.

Route1

By public transportation (bus):
Board the Takeya Kotsu Seibu Liner from Sendai Station, get off at the Grand Hotel Mae bus stop, and travel 5 minutes by foot. Or, when using the Miyagi Kotsu Bus, getting off at the Biwahara Bus Stop and walking 1 minute by foot is also convenient.

By train and taxi:
10 minutes by taxi from JR Sendai Line Ayashi Station, or 30 minutes by taxi from Sendai Station.

By car:
15 minutes by car from the Tohoku Expressway Sendai Minami IC or Sendai MIyagi IC. Parking available (30 spaces).

Point: A special Unlimited Tasting event is held every day from 17:00.
Participants can enjoy our specialty craft beer as much as they like in a 150 ml tasting glass for 3,500 Yen (including tax) per person.
